On December 30th, 2020, Laluo Water Control Project in Tibet was officially gotten into operation. In the four pilot irrigation areas “Shengezi, Chexiu, Qumei and Nie rixiong”, water diversion & transfer was successfully completed, embodying that the project has produced beneficial results. As a supplier for water diversion & transfer metering, Huizhong provided ultrasonic flow metering products which engaged in the accurate measurement in this project.

It is reported that as one of the 172 major national water conservancy projects for water saving and water supply, Laluo Water Control Project is the one with largest investment and significant benefits in Tibet currently, and is also a controllable one on the main stream of Xiabuqu River which is a tributary on the right bank of Brahmaputra, which is mainly composed of pivot project and irrigation project. Developing water supply, power generation and flood control, it pays attention to irrigation, promoting the improvement of ecological environment.

2 sets of Huizhong multi-channel ultrasonic flowmeters were mainly applied to water diversion metering in Derow Power Station, which operated stably and provided real-time transmission data, playing a key role in controlling the valves.

It is located in a high-altitude area with an average of more than 4100 meters, thus causing complex condition, difficult construction with short time and heavy task. In order to complete the project on schedule, Huizhong personnel persisted in installing the meters under the condition of severe cold and hypoxia, and completely the installation task with high quality, developing the spirits of overcoming difficulties and working hard.
